Be Who You Are and You Will Inspire Many

"The reality is not every woman can be Michelle Obama. She is her own person. But you can be the best YOU that you can possibly be. Strive to make a difference in the lives of the children that will one day be our leaders." I wrote this statement this morning on my facebook page. I, like everyone else was inspired by Michelle Obama's  phenomenal speech. She evoked such power and gentleness at the same time as she so eloquently spoke about her husband, our President Barack Obama. We were all inspired to do more, be more and achieve more.

But we can not aspire to be Michelle Obama, or anyone else for that matter. We must aspire to be who we are and become the best we can. Find your purpose, create a better you, develop who you want to become and do your best to become that person. That is truly what being a Candy Coated woman is all about. Love yourself enough to seek knowledge and understanding in all things. Love yourself enough to present yourself at all times as a lady with poise and class. Love yourself enough to show that you are vulnerable, you don't have to be strong all the time. Love yourself enough to be open to inspiration and to better yourself. Simply love yourself enough to be who you were created to be. In doing so, you too will inspire many, including our children to be phenomenal women.

Until next time...Be Candy Coated.
