Rest assured that I’m not making reference to the bag lady Miss Badu was singing about, but the type that is not satisfied with owning just one bag!
Well , a wise woman once told me that bags are like shoes… You can never own too many! And I concur!
From satchels, to clutches to cross bodies and totes, whatever your choice bag is, remember that it is always important to carry a bag that is suitable to your lifestyle.
Here are the three “staple” bags every woman should have.
THE WEEKDAY BAG
What is the weekday bag you ask? Good question! The weekday bag is the bag you carry during the week. Often times a weekday bag is found in the “Hobo or Tote” family.
It’s large enough to fit, your favorite book (for that train commute), your MP3 player , a lunch and whatever else you need to help make your week comfortable!
THE WEEKENDER
No need to carry your “weekday” bag over the weekend. My bag of choice is a cross body. I like to call it my “hands free” purse. Usually medium in size, with enough room to fit a pair of sunglasses, wallet and a small makeup bag.
THE CLASSY CLUTCH
And of course the clutch, a small bag with just enough room for a credit card, ID, your keys and of course your favorite lipstick.
